Troy University’s Counseling Programs Now Fully Online
Troy University’s graduate counseling programs have transitioned fully to online delivery in an effort to provide greater flexibility for graduate students pursuing careers in clinical mental health, school or rehabilitation counseling.
The following Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP)-accredited programs are now available in a fully online format:
M.S. in Counseling: Clinical Mental Health Counseling
M.S. in Counseling: Rehabilitation Counseling
M.S. in Counseling: Student Affairs Counseling
M.S. in Counseling: Substance Abuse Counseling
M.S.Ed. in Counseling: School Counseling
Troy University’s Rosa Parks Museum to celebrate Mrs. Parks’ birthday on Feb. 1
Troy University’s Rosa Parks Museum will celebrate what would have been the Civil Rights icon’s 112thbirthday on Saturday, Feb. 1 with free admission to the museum and special programs honoring Mrs. Parks’ life and legacy.
Free admission will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the 1950s-era Montgomery City Bus will also be on hand for guests to visit. A children’s craft time will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and birthday cupcakes and cookies will be available while supplies last, beginning at 10 a.m.
TROY alumna signs with Pure Mosaic Services
Troy University alumna and Christian singer/songwriter Kelly Alayna has signed with Pure Mosaic Services, a division of Pure Mosaic Records.
Born and raised in Hazlehurst, Ga., Kelly Alayna graduated from TROY in 2007 with a degree in graphic design and a minor in music industry. She marched in the Sound of the South as a majorette and played the flute in the John M. Long School of Music’s symphony band.
