Troy University proudly invites the public to the U.S. premiere of the documentary “Beyond A War,” a special event showcasing the transformative power of reconciliation and honoring the legacy of our nation’s military veterans. The premiere will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 3 p.m. at the Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts in Montgomery, Alabama.

Chief Information Officer pens new book on cybersecurity and ‘antifragility’ in an effort to help others learn from mistakes
Using his 29 years of experience working at Troy University, Dr. Greg Price has written a book about cybersecurity and the importance of coping with change.
The book – titled “Antifragile Cybersecurity: Building Resilience in the Digital Age” – delves into strategies, case studies, future trends and practical tools.

Beyond A War Trailer
“Beyond a War,” produced by Duy Tan University, is the moving documentary portrait of university presidents Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., and Dr. Lê Công Cơ. More than 50 years ago, Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Lê Công Cơ were on opposite sides of the Vietnam War. Hawkins served as platoon leader in the U.S. Marine Corps and Lê Công Cơ fought against American forces as a member of the Viet Cong. Today, they lead Troy University and Duy Tan University, respectively, and are working together to ensure a brighter future for students in both the U.S. and Vietnam.
