School of Nursing launches Student Nurse Apprentice Program
A new State of Alabama program will open doors for select Troy University School of Nursing students to earn money while in school.
The inaugural Nursing Student Apprenticeship Program, a collaboration between the School, the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship and the Alabama Board of Nursing, has placed 28 Bachelor of Science in Nursing students on a two-year apprenticeship program at Flowers Hospital in Dothan and the Baptist Health system.
Intelligent.com recognizes TROY degree programs among nation’s best
Nine degree programs at Troy University have been recognized as being among the nation’s best by Intelligent.com, a trusted resource for program rankings and higher education planning.
Rankings were based on the assessment of the University’s programs across six categories – tuition cost, admission, retention and graduation rates, faculty, reputation and resources provided for online students.
Retired Command Sergeant Major Martin Celestine to address Troy University graduates in January 20 ceremony
Retired Army Command Sergeant Major Martin Celestine, Vice President of Operations at the National Infantry Museum, will deliver the keynote address to Troy University graduates during the University’s Phenix City commencement ceremony on Jan. 20.
The ceremony, which will begin at 7 p.m. EST, will take place at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. Close to 90 graduates are expected to participate in the ceremony.
