Troy University has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Online Colleges nationally in 2022 by Abound, a college guidance system for degree-seeking adults.

TROY faculty earns accolades from national additive manufacturing group
Troy University Professor of Practice Frank Marquette has been named the recipient of the Randy Stevens Scholarship for educators in additive manufacturing by the Additive Manufacturing Users Group.
The scholarship will provide for Marquette to attend AMUG Conference in April, where he will present his work and engage with additive manufacturers.
Troy University’s Dr. Shelley Reed recognized for contributions to mental health field
Dr. Shelley Reed, Assistant Professor in Troy University’s Department of Counseling, Rehabilitation and Interpreter Training at the Phenix City Campus, is being honored for her outstanding contributions to the field of mental health awareness and counseling.
Sisters in Scholarship, Technology, Economics, Refinement and Services (SISTERS), Inc., in collaboration with the Gamma Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will honor Women in Mental Health Awareness during the 15th annual Rosa Parks Women of Courage event, which will be held virtually at 10 a.m. on March 26.
TROY professors to compete in Troy Dining cooking competition
Troy University professors are set to show off a different set of skills during the “Professor Edition” of Cook Your Way, a mystery ingredient cooking competition hosted by Troy Dining Services, on March 22.
Teams from the Sorrell marketing department (Sorrell Sizzle), the journalism department (Chop-olitan), the counseling and psychology department (Psy-cou Chefs) and International Programs (International Flayva) will battle it out for glory and a cutting board trophy for First Place and Fan Favorite winners.

ATO Walk Hard benefits Wounded Warriors
The 2022 ATO Walk Hard began on March 11 as they left the Troy Campus heading for Panama City Beach. Their 128.3-mile journey benefits wounded veterans and Jeep Sullivan's Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures.

Maj. Gen. Walter Givhan discusses the Russia-Ukraine Conflict
Maj. Gen. Walter Givhan, a Troy University Senior Vice Chancellor, shares his thought on the Russia-Ukraine Conflict. Givhan, who is the president of the Alabama World Affairs Council, discusses the current situation, the historical significance of the conflict, and the position the United States has been put in. Givhan also hosts a Troy Public Radio Podcast, "Speaking Globally".
